Volunteers give back

Critical home repairs provided by volunteers allow homeowners to stay  in their homes where they belong.  168 medical student volunteers from Marion University, School of Family Medicine  recently joined forces with Home Repairs for Good to help 9 different families in Indianapolis.

Connecting safe homes through needed repairs and  senior homeowner’s health demonstrates that housing  is health. Where people live matters. Home Repairs  for Good has been working through volunteer efforts and donations to make critical home repairs for low income seniors in Indianapolis for the last 10 years.

Celebrating the 3rd year, this volunteer partnership with Marion University School of Family Medicine and Home Repairs for Good means that daylong projects including painting, lawn work, building a shed and many other repair services make a difference. See how Marion University students give back.
