Critical home repairs provided by volunteers allow homeowners to stay in their homes where they belong. 168 medical student volunteers from Marion University, School of Family Medicine recently joined forces with Home Repairs for Good to help 9 different families in Indianapolis.
Connecting safe homes through needed repairs and senior homeowner’s health demonstrates that housing is health. Where people live matters. Home Repairs for Good has been working through volunteer efforts and donations to make critical home repairs for low income seniors in Indianapolis for the last 10 years.
